A very long time ago my mother told me that if I wanted to

Actually, she said that about accomplishing anything, whether it was magical

spell-casting.
 Be ready and

willing to do whatever is necessary to get the result you want.  Be ready

willing and able to pay the price. If you are not willing to do that you won

't get what you want.

Know what you would like the spell to do.  Limit

your spell to One Intent
so that you don't unintentionally try to get

contradictory things (which would cancel each other out.) Your intent should

be clear, concise, and precise.  I suggest that before you begin you write

out what it is you want to happen in 25 words or less.  Make sure it is

exactly what you want; and not vague or ambiguous.  Vague and ambiguous

spells get vague and ambiguous results. Also, unless you are intent on

proving yourself a failure in magic, don't be stupid and try a

spell to do

something that is physically impossible such as change your sex from male to

female, grow back an amputated limb, make the moon fall from the sky, and so

forth.

 

You should also have a strong desire for the result of your

spell; make a

firm decision to get what it is you are doing the working for for; and,

while casting the

spell, form a mental
construct of the END RESULT.  Include

in this mental construct images, color, structure, sounds, smells, taste,

touch, spatial awareness, emotion, and language.  See it as though it has

already happened.  The more vivid you make this the more quickly and

certainly will come the positive result of your

spell.

 

Here is one big don't.  Don't doubt the effectiveness of the

spell.  If you

doubt you are short circuiting your result, actually sending a separate

"cancel this, I don't really want it."

You can also use your natural talents when

casting your

spell. For example,

if you are a singer, sing any words you may be using. If you are a dancer

turn the words into a rhythmic chant and dance to it. If you are

artistically inclined you can paint or sculpt an image of some sort which

spell. Do whatever you can to increase the

vividness of your desired result.  This includes such things as using

colored candles, various roots and herbs, incenses, oils, loadstones, and

such.  There are many who believe, and I am among them, that all things have

spirit, and by using them in this way we are calling upon the help of those

things spirits to bring about the result. Also, many items act as a kind of

capacitor, holding in particular kinds of energy until it is released with

direction as it is in

If you are going to make magic a
part of your life, then you will need a special storage place for candles, books
and other supplies.  Witches believe that every house is its own temple,
but if you live in a home with several other people, you may want to work in one
special room.  Years of trial and error have proven to us that for the best
results, this room should be prepared in special magical ways.  Special
actives naturally imply special preparation.  First, for example, it must
be cleansed, both physically and psychically.  It is hard to realize how
many random spirits and though patterns can be attached to the objects in any
room, impregnating the walls, ceilings and floors.  As a first step, take
everything out of your temple room thoroughly scrub down the ceiling, walls and
floor with salted water.  At the new moon, boil the salted water in an iron
pan for the length of time it takes you to recite thirty three times this
affirmation:

Sprinkle licorice

a handful of marigolds or rosemary in, under or around the bed where your lover

faithful is:

Prepare a small drawstring pouch
in a dark color. Fill it with licorice herb, dried and ground unicorn root, a
handful of marigolds, fresh rosemary and dried cumin. Place the bag under your
lover's side of the bed and s/he will remain faithful.

For this spell you will
need:

A charred piece of wood

Rose petals or apple blossoms

A piece of paper



Using the charred part of the stick as you would a

pencil, draw two interlinked
hearts on the paper as you

visualize yourself

Hold the rose petals in your projective hand and send fiery,

loving energies into
them. Sprinkle the petals over the linked hearts.

Bring Back My Love Spell

This spell can be used to end an argument between friends or lovers.

For this spell you will need these ingredients:

Two white candles
A photograph or a drawing of your lover or friend (make sure he or 

she is alone in the photo - cut out or cover anyone else in the picture)
A photograph of yourself smiling
A chamomile tea bag
A piece of blue material

At exactly eight o'clock in the evening, light the candles and take a 

few deep breaths to relax you. Try to imagine a peaceful scene in your mind, 

perhaps a beautiful garden or waves rolling onto white sands. Now hold in your 

hand the picture of your lover or friend and repeat this chant:

'With the light of the flame
I'll light your desire,
When I speak your name
You'll feel the glow from my fire.

Say his or her name slowly three times, and then put your picture face down on 

top of his or her picture so that the two images are together. Wrap up the two 

pictures along with the chamomile tea bag, in blue cloth. Put the package in a 

safe place.
